Ascent Trip ReportAmazing day for this mountain. We took a direct drainage up to col and then a variation of the Spirko route ending with our own line which was exposed and loose. Ridgewalk was nice and stayed one hour on top with excellent views of 11,000ers as far as Mt Ball. Lake view is also the best from this side. One other party went up Kane Original route, which we descended traversing short exposed section. Rock was loose almost everywhere except here. Nice break at col and then used trail to descend since it was sandy and loose. Great mountain with my dad! |
