From S, Prati di San Vicino, trailhead signboard, verge parking, path across meadow then good trail up thru beechwood, crossing R then heading up to large metal cross. Highpoint is 125m ENE and an estimated 2-3m higher than the summit near the cross mapped as 1479m. See also Andy Martin TR. 35mins up, 30mins on top, 25mins down.

Then, after four days in sunny Central Italy, tonight I head north on the Autostrada for the Dolomites, for a morning ascent of Monte Mezza before meeting Lee Newton for Cima d'Asta; our plans fortunately coinciding with an improvement in the weather in the North.
