Ascent Trip ReportThe HP is on BLM land. The start (NM-104) is on NM State Trust Land. In between is a section of private property but it's not fenced nor signed. You will see "No Trespassing" signs posted on both sides of NM-104 north of the mountain/mesa complex that makes up Cerro de Corazon. That includes the Corazon Ranch directly across from the mountain. According to the NM State Land land use map this section of NM State Trust Land is leased for agricultural purposes to a rancher. Anyway Cerro de Corazon is a mesa complex with multiple sections of cliffs/layers. The first part, the lower mesa, near the NM-104 doesn't require any scrambling to make it to the top. This lower mesa leads to the HP mesa where there are two bands of cliffs/layers. Scrambling required.
