Ascent Trip ReportLone Pine Peak via Meysan TH (12,943’, SPS, Class 2)
Nice day out but won't be doing this route again. Lot of loose scree and not much in the way of interesting climbing. Look forward to doing the more interesting routes to the summit. The best part was the summit which had great views of all the surrounding peaks and unobstructed views down to Owens Valley. Somehow I started to descend the incorrect chute so I had to re-climb a little extra to get to the correct chute.
I was planning on doing Rosco as well but lost the motivation after coming down from Lone Pine Peak.
Two summit registers but both were completely full. Someone should bring up a new one.
