Ascent Trip ReportI drove in from the south on Robin Hill Road and turned right on Hellings Lane. This is a one lane gravel road. I passed High Point Camp and the Lucky Star pavilion. These are not where the highpoint is. There's a sign with a family name at the next meadow, continue past that staying on Hellings. I parked on the north side of the road at a driveway into land owned by a hunting club.
I walked on the path on the edge of the meadow which was mowed at some point, then struck in to forest to the east after ducking enough long branches. I actually found travel in the woods to just be easier. It's pretty flat, but I found a tree that I determined to have the highest base around. The forest had so little underbrush that I felt more confident than many other hikes on this trip on the location of the top. I did not see the large wicket mentioned by Lostracco, though.
For the decent I went straight back to the road through the woods. Note that many properties are posted in this area, but the highpoint is not.
