Ascent Trip ReportAfter climbing Baker Mountain, I decided to head to the trail head for Saint Regis Mountain. Signed trail register. This was a beautiful hike. 6.6 miles total out and back; 1:28 up, 1:20 down, 30 minutes at summit. I climbed the fire tower on the summit- the views of the Adirondacks was gorgeous. Found all 3 benchmarks on summit area (2 reference benchmarks pointing to the primary benchmark at the base of the fire tower. #3 of the Saranac Lake 6er. |
