|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Location:||USA-New Hampshire|
| Elevation:||4902 ft / 1494 m|
Ascent Trip ReportChained together several peaks for a fun out and back with a couple of branch-offs. Great weather, slightly overcast upon Galehead originally, but the clouds broke a bit when we arrived at S. Twin, Guyot, and Zealand for the day. By the time we made it back to Galehead it was basically clear skies ahead.
Twinway up S.Twin from Galehead hut was steep, but not as bad as expected. Very dry which was nice, and views of the Pemi and the Hut from the trail were great. Heading down the east side of S.Twin was not bad at all, with some quick elevation loss, than a nice gradual trail following. Had the summit to ourselves for a good 30 seconds!
