Ascent Trip ReportOne of the easier Tahoe summits to bag. Park at the lower Spooner Summit parking area (Sled hill for gapers in Winter) and if there is snow, just snowshoe up and over to the peak. During Winter this can be done in approximately 3/4 mile. Love that winter bonus for SOTA. I activated this as part of a larger project to activate all the Lake facing peaks of Lake Tahoe. out and back, got my contacts and returned back the way I came. |
