|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||12276 ft / 3741 m|
Ascent Trip ReportHorrible white out rain with 45mph+ winds first day. Had to pick an early camp to get warm and dry gear. If had arrived earlier or later would have had clear skies and gotten a better camp site at lunch counter.
Left for summit bid around 5:50am. Icy and 30mph winds on the way up. At Pikers Peak 50mph winds. The summit had 70mph+ winds, only spend 30 seconds up there.
Still icy down to Pikers Peak, but then below that was soft enough to glissade down. Beautiful sunny weather the rest of the hike out.
