Ascent Trip ReportStarted at 9:30AM on an absolutely beautiful hiking day with no clouds and temperature at 70'. Light wind on top. This hike was in memory of the 9-11 bombing. All 48 peaks over 4000 feet flew the American Flag on the summit. There were over 50 hikers on top of Carrigain at 12:10PM when I arrived. Said a prayer for those that pasted away and to Linda Fergus and her 3 children. Very crowded hike but also very inspiring. The view from the top of the tower on this peak is outstanding. |
