Ascent Trip Report

Parked at the state line, then took the State Line Trail to the Appalachian Trail. Went south on the Ernest Walter Trail, and continued south when the Ernest Walter turned east. Bushwhacked along the ridge for 0.25 miles, then hit the summit. About 100 feet east of the summit, there was a viewpoint that gave us a nice look at Manhattan. Retraced our route back to the Ernest Walter Trail, and completed the loop back to the State Line Trail.
This route is a nearly 5 mile approach to thhis summit.
