|Date:||Friday, May 29, 2020|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
|Peak:||Grizzly Mountain Lookout|
| Elevation:||6381 ft / 1944 m|
Ascent Trip ReportI drove in after Strawberry so I took Twentyone Mile(98) but I missed the turn-off for the road that goes to the summit (BIA14?). I ended up going down 1123 (according to the road sign)which happens to be Sitdown creek. I then drove up some other road (I can't find a number for this road) to roughly 5000 ft. At this point there is a side spur that doesn't go very far and the road switchbacks and continues heading around but getting worse with narrow overgrown vegetation and more downed tree. So instead I went back to the spur and bushwacked up to around 6000ft where I met the road (BIA-14)and followed the road from there. Relatively easy bushwack (after Strawberry) 2.4 miles round trip (including the road) and 1368 ft.
