Ascent Trip ReportEasily the best liner highpoint I have ever visited. There is a fantastic view out over the lava beds (lighting was great in the afternoon) and Cinder Butte makes a nice backdrop as well. Pretty good camping option in a cove about 0.2 miles before the highpoint, though if in a tent the rocks might be a bit rough on it. The road is in excellent shape and I would definitely recommend anyone with the time to make the stop here.
There was a wooden stick near what looked to be the highpoint, and later spotted a register a short distance away. Register looked to be too far east to be considered the highpoint so moved it to best location I could find and put a few rocks around it.
