Ascent Trip ReportI understand why nobody hikes this one, but I think it's a pretty nice mountain especially before stuff higher up opens up. The remains of old rancher or rogue ATV trails run all the way up onto the ridge and make for a walk with very nice views in a directions and easy distance. It was so easy that I got overeager on the way up and took off straight uphill through burned maples where the little road would have taken me up to the saddle with no effort at all. When I got to the summit I still wasn't ready to turn back, so I walked over just a little bit to the benchmarks. Really a nice out especially when paired up with the other high points in the area.
