Ascent Trip Reportstarted at the main trailhead just off 160; follow obvious route to radio tower and beyond; right at the junction and follow cairns when trail becomes faint. Some up and down to make a total 1000' gain for the hike, Easy class 2 with an optional 15 ft class 4 at the summit block itself. Handrope present - optional (5/15/20). Easy hike -- could easily combine with South Point, Windy Peak, Mtn Springs Summit or several other nearby peaks. Full sun hike, no shade. |
