Ascent Trip Report

Parking lot was empty. Hike up the trail to the summit. There was a view. Steep coming down and slippery becasue of the leaves. We went to Mount Livermore after summiting Cotton. Easy hike over. Swampy in some areas. Livermore has some great views of the lakes. Can see Mount Chocorua, Red Hill and Belknap Range Mountains. Then Hiked to Mount Webster. Can see West Rattlesnake and some of the Center Sanwich Mountains. Then snowy hike to Mount Morgan. No need for spikes. Great view. Hike back was better meaning not as steep. No one was really on the trail comething through. Some only hiking one mountain. Coming back more groups of people were hiking the traverse due to lots of trails closed. Parking lot was just about full. We needed to leave to let other hike.
