Ascent Trip Report

SD100 #29 for me

After bailing on the Garnet BM bushwhack, we came back south along the PCT. Embarrassingly, I didn't know about the jeep road from Kwaaymii Point that goes nearly straight up to the peak of Garnet Mountain, even though we'd parked right next to the gate... So we had a fun little scramble and 'shwhack up to the clearing, before coming upon it. Nice views from the peak, which we had all to ourselves--which is always nice, but especially so in the time of physical distancing.
