Ascent Trip ReportThe entirety of Camp Rock Road between Daggett and Lucerne Valley is in excellent shape for any passenger car. Most of it can be driven at 40mph or more. I took Camp Rock Road to Pipeline Road. This road starts off very rocky and requires high clearance or a desire to bash your car's undercarriage. Possessing neither, I biked west on Pipeline Road until a very steep section. That steep section is labeled as 4wd on the USGS map and very well may require 4wd. From my starting point, I headed south along the ridge until I met up with the road that went to the top.
