Ascent Trip ReportKeila and I were running the Appalachian Trail from route 645 to route 183. On our way back to route 645 we saw signs for the High Point so we did the additional short out and back. This is one of the best maintained county high points I have seen. They had signs and a place to register visitors. Outside state high points that are also that counties high point I never saw a county high point have anything. Multiple signs let you know how far away and then when you leave the AT there are yellow blazes all over. |
