Ascent Trip Report

Started at the Reed Road parking lot. Hike up the road to the gate. Pass the gate then on the left there are stairs of rocks. You will see blue blazes up the many switchbacks. Then there is a junction for the Quarry trail which is white blaze. So we took a left to hike up Easy Quarry then to Switchback North down to South after taking a left at the junction. Everyone was useing the 6 feet rule. Some good views at the Junction. Followed the red blaze trail to Anna. Then went to the red blaze trail to Mount Mack. So every new Mountain you go down then up. After reaching Mount Mack, continue down the Mack and Klem trail loop. Saw someone that had cut a tree down and make a camp fire with stool out of the trees. Kept up on the Red Blaze trail to Klem. Before you get to the summit there is a viewpoint to die for. Mt Washington is a pile of snow in the distance. Follow the sign for Klem. Then go back to the sign or the junction, had to break trail here. You can use microspikes here on out. We chose not to since on off on off the entire hike. Hike down then up to Rand then down and up to West Quarry. Sign is faint but is at the junction of Marsh trail.
