Ascent Trip ReportLake Ethel approach on skis. Lots of grooming and skin tracks cause of the nearby Scottish Lakes Cabins. Booted the skinny ridge above Lake Ethel to Point 6602. Traveled along open slopes below North Chiwaukum to the East ridge of Middle Chiwaukum where I booted up to the summit from there. Hustled over to North Chiwaukum and then retraced our route. Fun skiing through the woods and really fun in the openings by the cabin. Skied down an opening just to the North of Gill Creek drainage that kept on giving until the bitter end. Relatively easy travel through the trees and brush from there to the car.
