Ascent Trip ReportThis was a fun little hike. Near the summit it's rather rocky and there are some pretty decent views up there. There's a road that cuts through a neighborhood and into land owned by a conservancy. Follow the road to it's end and bushwhack up to the ridgeline. There's a faint trail along the ridgeline that can be a little rough going at first. On the initial climb up the subpeak, stay to the left (north) of ridgeline until you get to the top of the subpeak. Follow the path down to the saddle where the path becomes a bit more clear. Once you get closer to the summit you'll have a couple of routes to choose from. You can stay on ridgeline or contour a bit around the right (south) side of the ridge. Either way is equally easy.
Take note that the road you drive in on (Summit Drive) is fairly rough. While it's not a 4wd drive road, AWD would likely be helpful. You'll also need some ground clearance to clear the deep water bars.
LOJ labels the summit as the western point while Peakbagger labels it as the eastern point. I'm fairly certain the western point is the highpoint but I guess I should have visited the eastern point just in case.
