Descended back down to the unmaintained trail leading up to Hobo Lake then hiked up to Hobo Lake. From the lake we ascended up to the summit ridge leading to the top of Lookout Mountain. Made the quick traverse to the summit then descended the west side of the peak down to the washboard trail. We followed the washboard trail approx 2 miles to the base of the North Minam-Bear Creek Peak, continued off trail the remaining few hundred feet to the summit. We retraced our route back the washboard trail up to the Bear Lake trail then up and over the ridge leading to the summit of Lookout Mountain and back to Chimney Lake.
