Ascent Trip Report

Ferncroft parking lot was plowed but limited parking. Few of us used snowshoes and others used microspikes. Once on top of Wonalacet snowshoes can be used until the 4 way. The view is before Mt Wonalacet. You can see Chicorua. After this spot the weather was snow. Sun would peak once in a awhile but snow the entire time up on the ridge. Coming down Hibbard and Wonalancet Hedgehog is very steep and slippery. Ice pix going up would be good but down good to balance. At 4 way you can use microspikes. This is not a first time winter hike due to steepness.
