Ascent Trip ReportFrom Silverton, took Alpine Loop Rd (CR 2) to CR 25 to park and start high in the basin where Lake Emma sits. This is a standard 4wd/high clearance road.
Route is mostly ridge running mixed with 4wd jeep roads. Many options to expand or change loop.
Tricky spots along the ridge proper between Proposal and Emory and most options to drop below the ridge are loose as all hell. My suggestion is to stay as ridge proper as possible and drop as minimally as possible for those tricky spots to work around.
Make sure to mentally note where cliffy areas exist below Hurricane Peak, Hanson Peak and 13075 to avoid them for final descent back to where you parked
