Ascent Trip Report

The road to Lime Canyon has been improved. It's in good shape except for two scary but safe points where the road is washing out and has a sizable drop-off. Note- Anji Cerney and Adam Humphreys started out with us but broke off to pursue a more likely (and successful) route to the high point.

I do NOT recommend this route. Our last 300' or so of gain was miserable (Stacey stopped about 150' below me). The hole by the ridge was pretty cool, and it's possible the ridge from there could have been followed to the summit, but if one wants to try it, one should find a better way to get to the ridge.
