Ascent Trip Report

This is actually an attempt to get Fort (unsuccessfull), but successfully got North Brother, so reporting it here. The previous days attempt to get Fort failed. But, with new members (Deb & Charles) and new vigor we made a new plan to get Fort. We would start earlier, take advantage of the route finding between North Brother and Fort we did the day before, and push on. Here's what happened:

30 - Alarm goes off
00 - Depart Nesowadnehunk hut, walk the park Tote rd down to the Marston trailhead (~3.5 miles)
00 - Marston trail head (sign the log book)
31 - Mt. Coe Trail intersection
30 - Brother/Marston trail intersection
08 - North Brother summit. From here, Charlie and I continue toward Fort while the others return (again). We followed our tracks from the day before. We picked up the summer route again, and again we hit lots of obstacles, spruce traps, etc. After about 1hr we reached the far side of the col and abandoned the attempt again. So close
30 - Reached the far side of the col between North Brother and Fort. Abandoned and returned.
47 - North Brother summit.
30 - Brother/Marston trail intersection
00 - Marston trail head (sign the log book)
00 - Arrive back at Nesowadnehunk hut - Defeated again. Some other day.
