Ascent Trip Report

This trip report is a continuation from San Juan Hill. From the intersection of the South Ridge Trail I turned onto the Little Canyon Trail to descend into Telegraph Canyon, and then just right (downstream) to the signed Gilman Peak Trail. Relatively clear trail to the summit. No register located, just a wooden post. Amazing views all around. Rested and then returned following the same route; however, instead of the major bushwhacking down to Pinecrest Circle, I continued up South Ridge Trail to a "Utility Spur" road that ended at the private gate. Backtracked behind the western property and followed on-contour along the edge with still some mustard whacking. Much easier and quicker this way.
