Ascent Trip ReportAttempted Mopah in November, but missed a turn in the gully (I didn't notice one part of the gully keeps going rather than getting cliffed out) and then ran out of time, given that I had just done Umpah.
This time I went straight to Mopah and had no navigation issues. That "class 3" move is a bit ... delicate. I'd call it exposed class 4 ... it took a while for me to convince myself to get down it :) Didn't use the rope, in fact, I didn't see any obvious place to rappel from. I definitely didn't see any rap slings or anything.
On the way back I made a side trip to Mopah Spring, a palm oasis, which was really lovely.
