Ascent Trip ReportWe drove down from Chattanooga where the tornado warnings we were running from did materialize into one that touched down in several places. It was foggy and drizzling on top, but there wasn't any lightning yet.
We were the only folks around except for a worker, who told us the tower was on the highest point, which was marked with an "x" in the middle of the first floor. We went around back and found the rock outcrop which certainly seemed higher than the marked "x" inside. |
