Ascent Trip Report

Climbed Australia's Ayer's Rock successfully. Straightforward walk up. Steep flat path but no gravel or any need for scramble. Great to climb this Australian geological landmark. The top is a series of horizontal peaks and troughs running in parallel. No need for poles, ropes, and I don't think I even took a bottle of water. Without doubt, walking to the top was better than walking around the base, although both were enjoyable.
