Ascent Trip Report

My second visit to this area was to ascend up the southern and slightly higher summit. I was disappointed the first time that we hit only the second highest point, so this visit was opportunity to rectify that. We also took the time to explore further more of the area at and beyond the Southern summit. While we did that we were being surrounded by storms from every direction.

We got lost along the backside of it trying to find a fast way back to evade the storm moving quickly in our direction. While doing so we accidentally found ourselves climbing back up to the South summit along the steeper backside as the storms began to make conditions less favorable with the strong winds. Eventually we had to run most of the way down once the trail was located. It was an awesome and fun endeavour.

I intend to return for a third visit to document the experience and location.
