Ascent Trip Report

Hiked from Diamond Notch trailhead. Trail was wet and muddy, more so in lower elevations and spots where water ran like a stream. Pretty waterfalls along first part of trail to the bridge and at the bridge. There's a spot with names etched into the flat rock and a place you can get down to the river. A rocky trail, not really very difficult. The only view is at Buck Ridge Lookout, a very short distance before the summit. (Sign at bridge is not correct, as it says that Westkill summit is before Buck Ridge; it is not, it is after.) Summit has a sign on the tree and large cairn.
