Ascent Trip Report

I walked the 0.22 miles from the sign on the side of the dirt track up to the top of Bluebell Knoll on Boulder Top just before sunset on a windy fall evening. A cold storm was blowing in from the northwest, so I moved quickly to get off the mountain before the snow flew. The sunset as I drove west to the rim dropping down to lower country was spectacular.

I love Boulder Top, it is a wild and special place.
