Ascent Trip ReportKelley and I day hiked from Humber Park up the Devils Slide and then the Pacific Crest Trails to about 8800' in elevation along the PCT. Kelley took one look at the steep, brush infested slope and told me to "have fun". It took me about 45 minutes to bushwack from the PCT up to the high point eventhough it was only 0.2 miles with 400' gain away. I found a Bob Burd Sierra Challenge register on top of a large rock, and I'm only the third person to sign it.
