Ascent Trip Report2019-10-20 was the one year anniversary of the Reynolds peak attempt. I could not bag it last year because I torn my achilles tendon just below the summit block when I tried to avoid a large rock coming down to me. So I went back and bagged it. I took a different route - a direct Eastern ridge ascend and walk around the summit block area. I took an obvious chute on the Easter slope for decent. As a bonus I bagged Ebbetts peak on my return. I approached it from PCS on its Eastern face and that made it a more interesting Class 3 for this easy peak. |
