| Elevation:||835 ft / 254 m|
Ascent Trip ReportI experienced too much brush for the day, so opted not to climb Peak 932, which had a culvert running up halfway and bushwhacking thereafter.
For Puma Ridge I decided to park outside the Irvine Regional Park and save the entry fee. I found parking at the shopping center at the intersection of Jamboree and Chapman. Walked to the park entrance and continued along the roadway. I missed the turn for the Puma Ridge trail just inside the gate, so continued to the east looking for a cutoff. I found a nature walk and turned hoping it would reach the ridge, but sadly the ridge was blocked by heavy brush and a fence. Made it back to the road and continued until reaching the east end of the Pump Ridge Trail. I followed that narrow trail to the summit and enjoyed the view of the late sunset and city lights. Since it was dark by the time I reached the summit, I decided to return along the same way as much of track was along a road and although longer it was much easier to travel.
