Ascent Trip ReportWe climbed this popular hill above Salt Lake City on a bright and breezy Sunday afternoon between conference sessions of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This is an historic hill since it was first ascended by Brigham Young and a group of other men to gain a view of the Salt Lake Valley on 26 July 1847. The view today was impressive even though the effort required to obtain it is minimal.
