Ascent Trip ReportThis was an unplanned ascent to work off steam after having a nearby trailcam stolen, the second one stolen this year. I took the trail up from the fire station and it worked me enough to calm down. I didn't bother with the GPS so I used Mike Sullivan's stats from his last trip on this route. I also didn't time myself.
Signed in to the fireman register, then continued to true summit through some brush. On the way down, I met 4 fireman coming up. Well, three firemen and one fire woman. I talked to one who said his fastest time up with full gear was 35 minutes. That's fast on this steep trail. He only had a water bottle with him this time.
