Ascent Trip Report

Entered 10/5/2019.

Long Mountain was the first summit of the Holyoke Range in my hike along the Robert Frost Trail from Puffers Pond to The Notch Visitor Center. It was here when I really started to run into more people. The trail was steep from the area below and I could really feel it this time in my legs, a reminder that the hardest part was still in front of me. A sign denoted the summit. A ledge just below the summit had wonderful views to the north(?). Now to a real peak bagger's "summit", Rattlesnake Knob!
