Ascent Trip Report

Entered 10/5/2019.

The third summit of my hike on the Robert Frost Trail from Puffers Pond to The Notch Visitor Center. This is a relatively large mountain and included a sub-peak to the south. The summit came a little unexpected but as the trail began to descend I knew I was there. The RF Trail crossed right over it this time.
Similar to Mt. Poverty, I was afforded no views here, except for what little I could see through trees of the next ridge to the east. A ledge however off of the sub-peak offered excellent views to the south, notably the entire Holyoke Range. My goal of the visitor center seemed far off...
