Ascent Trip Report

From the col north of Zielony Kopiec, I hiked up on the trail to the minor summit of Malinowska Skala 1152m/85m, which had an impressive gritstone tor on its northern edge. The trail descended to another col before a long gentle climb through an area of tree devastation over the minor summits of Kopa Skrzyczenska and Mala Skrzyczne onto Skrzyczne, the high point of the Beskid Slaski. This was marked by a post, below which was an ugly paraphernalia of cafes, masts, ski tows and a chairlift station, busy with people. I met the family there, and we took the blue rail down under the chairlift to our hotel in Szczyrk.
