Ascent Trip ReportI went with two friends from work. Parked at the end of the Olympic Hot Springs road (where the road is closed). Then we biked to the end of the washed-out bridge and read the sign about using the "bypass trail". Went back to the bypass trail (I walked my bike a good portion of the trail). Then back to the road and biked up to Whiskey Bend. Good road but hard biking uphill with a 35lb pack on my back (coming down was sweet). Then we hiked in to Humes Ranch and spent the night in the meadow campground. We had a fire there. The next day we hiked up to the campground at Dodger point and setup tents then continued up to Dodger Point Lookout. We then went back down to the tarns to collect water and back up to camp. It started snowing just after dinner and cold and windy over night. Woke up to more snow and packed-up and headed back out.
