Ascent Trip Report

After hiking Stinson Mountain in the morning, I travelled south to Plymouth Mountain. I started at the trailhead on Old Hebron Road, 0.1 miles west of Texas Hill Road, where there is a parking area and trailhead kiosk. I started up on the Fauver Link Trail, which runs 0.4 miles to an overgrown road, where the Sutherland Trail continues on the other side. The AMC Southern NH Trail Guide was a perfect resource for this climb. For such a small mountain, this was a surprisingly tiring climb, but there were also surprisingly great views. There were fantastic views of the White Mountains from Pike's Peak, as well as sweeping views to the east from the east cliffs.
