Ascent of Smith Mountain on 2019-08-25

|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||5111 ft / 1557 m|
Ascent Trip ReportGorgeous hike! Some poison oak hidden along the way to look out for. Last half mile is a no joke rock scramble. Poles are a must. Rowing gloves came in handy for the ascent to help protect my palms. It was crazy hot, we should have had a 6a trail start instead of 8a. All in all, beautiful day with a few Tiger Swallow Tail butterflies at the summit.
I went through 3.5 L of water from start to finish.
