Ascent Trip ReportHiked with Dan. We hiked up Bear Den Mountain first, then we descended part way down, and bushwhacked over to the trail up Flume Knob. We crossed over the brook and about halfway through our bushwhack, we found another boot print in the mud - obviously we we're the first people to have this idea and who didn't want to go all the way back down to the bottom, just to go up this little hike.
We hiked Bear Den as hike #2 of the ADK 6-Pack Challenge, and Flume Knob as part of the Adirondack 29er Challenge. After hiking, we drove to Big Slide Brewery in Lake Placid where we met up with Dad and Shelia and had dinner.
