Ascent Trip Report

This was a solo hike and my second attempt to get Fletcher. The first time, I ran into snow and turned back. No snow this time. I started on the North Canyon trail across from Hilltop Campground. 99% trail and good use trail. The first two were Scenic and Raintree Peak, both of which I did last time. Next was Raintree Point, which was just off the trail then dropped down to the use trail to Fletcher. There are two Fletcher’s. I came across Highpoint, which had a register, then continued on to Fletcher Peak, which is the point on Peakbagger. There is nothing on the summit. I then returned to Highpoint, which had a register on it. After the 100+ temperatures I’ve been experiencing in Pahrump, the 70’s in the mountains was great. Beautiful views of Charleston and Mummy all day.
