Ascent Trip ReportRoad reopened today so woke up at 430 AM and left house at 450 and got to the TH just after 6 AM. I parked at a turnout adjacent to the large broad saddle. This is a very pleasant and non-technical trek across beautiful tundra alpine to the summit. I carefully used as much rock to walk on as possible to protect the tundra. There are no signs of others up here. No trash, no trails, no game trails. Much solitude. After hitting the HP I continued over to the sister peak Epaulie. Strangely, each peak gets a tiny bit higher as you head "down" the shoulder ridge at least up to Rosalie so the prominence increases as you head down stream. This entire trek can be easy class 1 and the rock is never talus so quite comfy to walk on
