Ascent Trip ReportSome routefinding notes to save a bit of time.
I cairned the faint trails in the meadow on my way out so hopefully that helps. If you don't have a gps like I do and you're in that meadow the climbers trail is difficult to find on the way up and a cinch on the way down. The key is to follow Thorp Creek until it starts cascading (there's a small foot high cascade a bit before that point, ignore that one). When you see the cascade, cross the creek then head right and you should see the start of some cairns to the southwest of that point. A trail soon pops up that is easily followed to the ridge. You'll get their either way if you just follow Thorp Creek all the way up but it's rockier and brushier.
Also for the point you leave the Hurricane Creek trail, the summitpost entry on this route was helpful. It's just after the third open stretch of meadow. However, there are two offshoot trails in a row. The first left turn just leads to a couple camp sites and no crossing. Continue on a short ways longer on Hurricane Creek Trail to find the right left turn. Looking at the summitpost photos, the original crossing is down, and a new crossing is up. Don't trust any of your weight on the hand rail limb, it's pretty rickety.
