Ascent Trip Report

7/11/2019 - hiked in from Slate Pass area and camped at Lake Doris
7/12/2019 - climbed Osceola via ridge leading down toward lake
hiked toward Shellrock Pass to nice campsite near creek at about 5900 ft elevation
7/13/2019 - climbed Mt Lago - directions were poor and misleading, lots of scree
Slipped and cut my right hand on rock. Vicki stopped bleeding with panty liner.
hiked back to Lake Doris
7/14/2019 - hiked out and drove home, stopped at Mazama for ice cream

Flowers very nice near Slate pass and other areas of similar elevation.
Took ice axes in to base camps but did not need them or haul them up mountains.
Vicki's pack weighed 33 lbs, mine 38 with water, axes, helmets, food, etc when we started.
